The counter girl was very efficient and friendly. This in itself sold me on Corporate training. The gentleman that pointed out the car to me was very helpful.

The lady we had take care of us, was so helpful and so sweet. I wish I could remember her name.

ABYSMAL! DANGEROUS! BEWARE! First, the lady who checked me out at the desk was coughing on her hands through the mask and not washing her hands after.nnThe first car I was given had no driver's side seatbelt. You heard that right. The seatbelt was completely missing. How did that overlooked?nnI had to switch that car out for another and it was permeated with a marijuana and smoke smell. I was so tired of healing with the other car after a long flight that I thought I could get used to it. It's nauseating.nnOnce I began driving, I noticed the car is completely dirty inside and there are weed crumbles and chunks all throughout the vehicle. On the console, between the seats etc. this is a huge liability if I am to pulled over by the police. They could smell the drugs then search the car and find something jeopardizing my job as a teacher! The car was not cleaned whatsoever. I called about this already and had to clean and sterilize the car myself which didn't even help with the smell. Then driving the next day, it started to snow, and I used the windshield wiper and there was no fluid, which smeared the windshield with dirt as I was on the highway and nearly left me in an accident. I filled up the fluid reservoir after purchasing some at a gas station, only to find out that the mechanism doesn't spray at all. The car is now sitting in the driveway where I am, undriveable and unsafe. Customer service isn't helping and they can't even find my reservations. I'm trying to get someone to pick up the vehicle so I can rent another vehicle that is actually safe and clean to drive. Customer service just transfers you and doesn't help. This is the worst experience I've ever had booking a car rental. I'm reporting them to BBB and the CDC among others as they should be shut down. I wish I'd read all the terrible reviews before I booked.

Customer service was exceptional. Vehicle was ready and the process to pick up and turn in Vehicle was seamless.

WILL NEVER EVER RENT WITH PAYLESS AGAIN! I wish I could say you get what you pay for however they were just as expensive as everyone else at my time of booking. I booked on orbitz so now i know to stay away from payless car rental. When I touched down in Philly I had to call payless to get them to send the shuttle to the airport for pick up. Then they charge a deposit whether you're using a debit or credit card. You don't get to pick your car. It's chosen for you. You have to wait until they are open to return the car because they close the gates which also means you'll be charged an additional day and hopefully you don't miss your flight. The vehicle itself was good. everything else made for a bad experience.
