Rented a minivan to help a friend move. Rates were reasonable and was able to get our mission accomplished! Accidentally left something in the rental and while I was glad I was able to somewhat recover my item (it was partially returned) it took several calls to know what to do.

Super friendly staff. Car was clean and tank was full. We were in and out very quickly so we could be on our way. It was easy when we picked up the car and dropped it back off. Parking lot was well labeled.

After being a Hertz customer for years and experiencing multiple customer service issues and professionally expressing my concern with no reply we switched to Alamo.nnWe have only used Alamo since 2018, with that said..... Reservations on the APP - easy In person experience with counter agent - professional and friendly. Contact with drivers of the buses to and from DTW airport- professional , friendly. Skip the counter ability - flawless. Cars, clean and run great. Return process- quick, contactless and easy. Value for the price - on point.nnSo looking for customer service, polite and professional staff, and a car that is clean and runs great ......Alamo checks all the boxes

Very unfriendly, wouldn't let me use my debit card to rent a car which I had already reserved through priceline and then wanted a $400 dollar deposit for me to rent the car. I shouldn't have to have a round trip airline ticket to be able to use my debit card. Thank goodness for friends who loaned me their car. I will never use Alamo or National again and will caution others. Never had this problem with Hertz or Enterprise. Well, my bad, should have gone with them. Besides debit is better than credit, the money is taken straight from the persons account. Well anyway, don't use National or Alamo. Even when I asked to use their services, they still refused and quoted me a $400 deposit as well as the service. The hotels don't even charge that much. Thanks Alamo and National for almost ruining me and my daughter's trip. Oh by the way, this was at Detro Metropolitan Airport.
