If I could select a negative STAR UP TOP I WOULD! Auto Renters beware!” I called and reserved a car from budget rental Royal Oak Mi on Woodward Ave at Thanksgiving 2020 and had to call them and cancel a full 24 hours ahead of time as their policy stated but not only was I charged the 50$ cancel fee they tried to take an additional $26.34 on my credit account saying to me; “well since we e been on this cancellation call your 24 hour period has been exhausted your now at 23 hours and 57 minutes” I own my own business and have never even heard of such a low life scam as crooked as these people! What kind of outfit would try to extort money from someone especially during the holidays.
The website process was clear and easy. The car with my chosen options was inspected and ready to go. The staff was very courteous and friendly, even though it was clearly their busy time on a Friday afternoon. Nothing but good things to say about my rental experience.
Stuff very friendly and cooperative, quick check and drop off, but the car was making noise from its tires
I ordered a moving van online and when I showed up they said they didn’t do moving vans or trucks at all. I called Budget customer service and they rescheduled my pick up at the Hazel Park location for two hours later. I showed up there and they office was closed. Don’t waste your time or money.
The two people at the front desk were so helpful. I really enjoyed how nice they were and how easy they made the whole process.
