Showed up at 11:45am on New Year’s Eve to pick up an 11 day rental. Only one customer was allowed inside at a time which is understandable with Covid. It was 28 degrees out and we were 2nd in line outdoors and waited approximately 15 minutes until shortly after noon with no movement. At that point my wife had to use a restroom so we went down the street to find one. We came back approximately 15 minutes later and were told by the employee that the location closed at noon and we could not get the car until Saturday morning the 2nd. The employee knew we were waiting out in the cold prior and refused to make any exception. Garbage location that will never get my business again.

We showed up and they didn’t have the vehicle we reserved. It was a last minute booking because our cars brakes stopped working but the website should update and show which vehicles are NOT available. So we ended up with a van which had just been turned in and so he had to clean it quickly. We needed to get on the road right away and about 10 miles down the road we saw the tire pressure and oil change signs pop up. We called and they claimed that they change the oil at their location and according to their system it had been changed. Then when we got to our location we notice that the vehicle made weird sounds when we used the breaks. The last straw was when we were driving around at our destination which was Tennessee and the vehicle started chugging and then chugging when stopped at a stop light and the check engine light came on. So frustrating!!
Avis is the worst car rental place. bad on business, customer service is horrible.
