Enterprise Rent-A-Car

Everything went smoothly and the agents were helpful and friendly. Hardly a wait either.nMade it four stars since it was difficult to call them to modify the reservation and then there was no callback. The agent said it was because there’s only one person in the office.nOverall satisfied.

Last year I had to switch from Hertz to Enterprise due to a corporate change. In the 18 months I’ve been with Enterprise, I’d say my experience has been average at best. With Hertz‘s rewards program, I would choose my car in the lot upon arrival and simply drive away. I’ve rented with Enterprise 17 times in the last 18 months and only two of those times did I drive off the lot within 20 minutes. With that being said, I can live with the longer wait times. With COVID going on it’s important to be understanding. The one issue I have with this company is their lack of customer service. My regular car was recently hit and had to be sent in for repairs. Fortunately, the insurance company of the individual that hit my car offered to cover the rental. Since Enterprise is 25 minutes from my home, I called them to ensure my rewards account would be included on the rental since I have an option 5 minutes from home. The associate at the location in McKinney, TX told me that my rewards account would be added to the rental. Instead of utilizing a rental car service closer to home, I went with Hertz because I figured an 8 day rental would yield substantial points. After returning the rental over a week later, no points were added to my account. I called the rewards line and was told due to the nature of the rental, it didn’t qualify for points since it was an insurance company situation. I understand this may be policy, but I also did my part by calling prior to renting to inquire about the points. I have the call recorded because my phone automatically records calls for work purposes. The fact that such a large company is so stingy about points is aggravating to me. Luckily my company has recently partnered with National as I’ve heard great things about their customer service and time to rent a vehicle.

I’m have nothing negative to say about my experiences at enterprise all of the service has been great.The cars I have requested have been very well maintained. Happy to say no mechanical issues. Will rent from enterprise again.

Elias Ramirez, Princeton, Texas: My car was great no problems with usage or gas mileage. Only problem when I dropped my vehicle off I was charged a $55.00 cleaning (detail) fee. I did not leave the car dirty, trashy or smelly. Me and my family did not smoke inside or drop liquid inside only wet feet from the day it rain. I hate that just charged me Enterprise should clean every vehicle anyway. I will switch to General or Budget etc, very unfair!!!!! I called to discuss only just blew off!

Having the Enterprise counter at The Body Shop III made this SO much easier. The associate is extremely competent, friendly and knowledgeable that he changed my mind about Enterprise :)
