Clean vehicle and easy to pick up and return.
I rented a mid-sized car at the Harlingen Airport with a drop off two weeks later in Austin. When I received my bill, I was over-charged and the amount on my statement was $2,668 -- $190 a day! Customer service was very rude and corporate was not helpful. Will be disputing this charge with my credit card company. I have had great experience with Avis at other airports but do not reserve a rent car from Avis at the Harlingen airport!
Excellent courteous service, both on pick up and return. We could not find how to open the trunk that opens sideways (Ford Ecosport), the clerk told us how to over the phone but also offered to come to the car to show us. On return, everything was fast and our few minutes late were waived. This is not a one time thing, the staff at the Harlingen airport location is really great. We always rent with Avis.
Could not find my reservation at first but located it and upgraded my car for the delay.
