Rented a van for one day. I was told I could drop it off and leave the key in the drop box. I told the manager I would do that. 3 days after returning the van I was charged for 4 days and late fees. I called and the employee was very rude. He said that they always get the keys in the morning so if I had returned it they wouldn't have charged me. As if I'm somehow lying about it? Come on, how could you miss a huge cargo van in your 4 spot parking lot? I requested to speak with the manager who was in a meeting and would call me back. I was steaming. He called back and I had to find my contract to get the exact price to refund me. Good thing I found it. He said it would take 15 minutes to update on my card. It has been 4 more days and I have not been refunded. I have since called multiple times and they will not answer the phone. I only used Hertz because I was desperate and now I'm paying for it with my time. Don't waste your time and use Enterprise.

Worst experience possible. Being charged $150 to VACCUM the rugs. Then they try to blame a crack in the windshield on me AFTER they were the ones that pointed the crack out to me. Insurance extended the car to today and they tried to make me pay out of pocket. Whoever the one with the thick accent is, is a total idiot and rude as hell.

I went through my insurance and I called to tell them I was on my way to the repair shop so that they could pick me up and the man tells me to call him when I get there.ud83eudd14nWe get past that and then due to his heavy accent he ran my card twice because I couldn't understand what he was explaining. When I finally get to the car its a nice 2020 model. He proceeds to tell me about the dents and no smoking in the vehicle. Only problem was is that as I get into the vehicle it reeked of smoke and Marijuana. So I called the guy to tell him and he said he would make note of it. Never once did he offer to replace the car. I made all the arrangements necessary and I took the car back the next day. The same guy stayed on the phone and barely even addressed me. He didn't even try to offer me a replace car. Never again.
