Direct Auto Rental

Don’t recommend! They will keep your deposit. My mom rented a vehicle with them and when she rented it, she paid for a week. Contract said that she gets 200 free miles a day. She extended the rental for another week each week and ended up keeping the vehicle for a whole month. Returned the vehicle and never got her deposit. Called and asked why, the owner Chris said he would call her back after he look into what’s going on. He never called back. Called again a few days later, no answer but left a voicemail. No one ever returned the call. She then called again and finally got a hold of them today and he says that because she kept the rental for a whole month, the 200 miles a day for free contract changed to 1000 miles a week. Mind you the contract she signed said 200 miles free a day and when she called and extended every week no one informed her that the contract changed. Why change to a monthly contract when she didn’t even know she would need it for a month. She extended the rental the times she did because her car wasn’t ready to be picked up from the shop. When a contract changes, it should still have to be signed for those changes. That’s unfair to customers to change a contract without letting them know you’re changing it and then keeping their deposit. She paid weekly fees. $350 a week. Not a monthly fee so that doesn’t make sense at all. Other people have also said they had problems getting their deposit back. Don’t do it! Stick with other rental companies. Then when she asked to speak to someone over them, he said he owns the company so if you have any problems, it’ll be hard for you to get anywhere with this place being private owned.

I arranged for a pickup at 4 pm. I got To the place and NO ONE WAS THERE! There was a sign on the door that said Be Back at 4. 25 minutes go by and no one even showed up. Do not take your business here. Unprofessional, unorganized, and a waste of a business space at that plaza. I’m also like 95% sure some of those positive reviews are fake. ***THE OWNER CALLED MY PHONE AND NOT ONLY INFORMED ME THAT THERE WERENT ANY CARS AVAILABLE ANYWAY (Despite my booking a week in advance) BUT HE ALSO THREATENED THAT IF I DONT TAKE THIS REVIEW DOWN HE WOULD “HAVE A WORD WITH THE COMMANDER OF MY BASE” LOL THE NERVE OF THIS GUY! CHRIS IS AS UNPROFESSIONAL AS THEY COME!!!

I made an appointment for 4pm. I arrived on time and nobody was there. I seen a note on the door that said “will return at 4:45” after waiting a while I got my rental car and to my surprise it was so dirty inside and outside trash inside the console. The car wasn’t in the best of shape either. The front end was damaged and so was the side mirrors.
