Enterprise Rent-A-Car

Great service and super efficient. With covid mandates in place, the experience was even more fluid and turnkey. I literally came in presented my driver's license and credit card and walked around the car for evaluation and then left. I really appreciated how quick it was. Same on the drop off.

Not a very good experience, to say the least. Called seven times during regular working hours to try to book a reservation, but no answer. Went online to try, but the upgrade code would not work. After 9 calls, they answerered. I made the reservation and they scheduled “Me” the appointment of 10 am to pick the car up. Arrived at 9:45 and no one would hardly help me, or ask, could they help. Talking to the manager, I think, they said the car was not there yet, and it might be there by 12:00. I had all my baggage and no where to go because I had to get a ride to get there. Finally at 12:30 the car was returned. After waiting for over 2 hours, hot outside, they put me in a nasty, dirty car, that smelled like smoke. Didn’t sanitize, clean, inspect, or anything, and said thank you. Wow Enterprise, thank goodness for you that you do not have much competition at this location. Then the next day they call because someone left their golf clubs in the trunk and medicine, and asked me to return the car, at my expense. Wow, I get there and they give me another car and didn’t even say thank you. Very sorry service with just a bunch of employees that really don’t care. It’s just a job I guess. At my work place, I’d be fired over customer service like that.nOlivia

It was a great experience until I got to the drop-off location as the initial Enterprise reresentativep (James) had failed to mark that the car only had 1/2 of a tank of gas, vs. a full tank, when I picked it up. I had to deal with the manager. The manager was very nice and rectified the mistake. However, the initial representative tried to cover that mistake. In the end, I picked the car up with a 1/2 tank of gas and returned it with 3/4 of a tank. ALWAYS, make sure your paperwork matches the actual circumstances of the car, including any marks or dents on the vehicle.

Van was perfect for our large group and very clean. The sliding door sensor was defective and caused the dash warning light to ding and flash, though the door was secure. The windshield wipers were also defective and would crash when hitting down. The fast setting was slow and the slow setting was fast.

I never got the car I reserved for June 22 from the Boone, NC Enterprise location. I never got any car. I made the reservation to pick it up from 3-4 PM on June 22. Apparently, the call center from hell put it in as a 10 AM pickup. James, the Assistant Manager at the Boone location rented the car to someone else. I spent two hours trying to call to be picked up and finally got through to learn my car had been rented to someone else.nnThere's just no excuse for that kind of customer treatment. No one called us back for a whole week, up and down the chain of command, Enterprise ignored our pleas for help. That's ok, we bought a car to go behind the RV. So Enterprise we've kept our promise and are sharing our pitiful story with every RV club, every travel group and social media groups. Enterprise, I wish I could give you and James a minus 5 instead of a 1 because that's what you deserve.
