I was charged an additional day ... my reservation was to pick up at 8pm... Your system had that I was to pick up at 8:25 AM. I was not only charged for an additional day. I was charged extra gas fees when i returned the car although no one checked the car. I called customer service to get refunded for the additional day. the rep removed the gas charges but did not remove the additional day. the agent did not note my rental either... The agent rushed me off the phone so I was unable to view the receipt to see that they extra day had not been refund. I had to call again and was on the phone an additional 40 minutes for the same issue. not only was I overcharged... i have had to call twice to get my issue rectified. i don't feel valued as a customer...

The rental cost was very high, there is no complimentary pick up service. But the car was great (brand new), the pick up and return was pretty painless, and customer service was friendly.

My girlfriend reserved a 12 passenger van to transport guests from a wedding venue to the hotel so that no one had to drive after drinking. She reserved the vehicle a week in advance. You would assume that a reservation means that what you reserved would be available to you at the prescribed date and time. You would be wrong.nnI arrived at noon, which was the reservation pick up time. The lady behind the counter tells me that they don't have a vehicle for me. Excuse me? I informed her that I could not leave without that vehicle. She went in the back to make a call. She came back out and said that they did have one but it would have to be sanitized and that would take 30-40 minutes. To make a long story short, I did get the vehicle 1 1/2 hours late. It smelled terrible and the exterior was filthy. I think they had the vehicle but just didn't bother to have it ready in time. I barely made the wedding before it started.nnThe only good thing that kept them from getting zero stars is that they did give me a discount for my inconvenience. Stay away from this location people. They suck.

If you are renting a car to go anywhere within a 20 mile radius of Winston Salem, NC. Don't rent a car here at the airport. They aren't looking out for your best interest and won't lift a finger if they don't have to. Trust me. If you need a car from Budget go to the one on 140 Hanes Mall Circle in Winston Salem and look for George Gerdes. He is a great guy who not only gave me a car but also recommendations on places to visit and fine dining restaurants. The lady at the Airport Budget just seemed annoyed with me the whole time we talked. Maybe they're over worked at that airport location. I don't know. All I know was George Gerdes at Budget Car Rentals helped me when I needed a cars. Plus You can't beat his prices. I saved hundreds working with him. Thank you George!!!
