Hertz

I have had terrible service and limited vehicle selection at this location previously, but they are very close to my home, so I wanted to try them again. I can now add an additional complaint for this location, BLATANT THEFT!nnI just dropped off my rental today and now am seeing a $400 cleaning fee on my bill. This is the fee that Hertz charges for smoking in the vehicle. Not only did no one smoke in the vehicle, my wife and I do not smoke AT ALL, so there is no way this is some innocent mix up.nnNow I get to call Hertz in the morning to have the fee refunded, and will also be bringing up the poor customer service and the fact that I purchased the fuel option but received a vehicle with a half tank of gas on pick up, which they listed as 7/8. I was originally going to let those slide...nnAfter renting from Hertz regularly for 15 years, I will still recommend the company in general. However, STAY CLEAR OF THIS LOCATION!

Bad bad service. The manager or district manager he says cancel my reservation because he said he didn’t have cars to go one way. I’m stranded with children and he won’t rent the car because he want to keep it local to make more profit. This place runs a dirty business, to make it worse they did not notified me. I had to find out later, only after I call them. Wasted a whole day, waiting. Shame on you sir and this is a bad representation for hertz as a brand. I will bring this up to corporate.

I reserved a car at the Covington, La location for Friday 5/1/2020-I called @ 10:30am on 5/1/20 to confirm the reservation bc of the vehicle I requested (SUV) the associate asked me if I had a essential letter for travel-nope never heard of it and she did not explain to me what's the purpose of the essential letter or advise me on whatever requirenments needed for the rental. Your associate is not customer service friendly. RESERVATION CANCELLED with Hertz and reserved with Avis! Hertz I won't deal with your workers with attitudes.

Very patient, helpful and fast but accurate service

30 min from when? im sure/ hope corporate wouldn't approve.
