Ponchatoula High School

Have had 2 children be enrolled here and will eventually have 2 more. I think they should have more art classes available and do better checking of students choosing arts for their electives. For a college program my child needed 4 years of art but did not get it for the freshman year because there was no room and they had to turn away many many students. A lot of the students that did get in were just taking it because they think it will be an easy class credit. It is unfair to the kids that actually want to do art. The French teacher and Art teacher are amazing! So far there is only 1 teacher I do not care for, a civics teacher that preaches his political views to the class. My child should learn every view and not be taught to view only one side.

From Vietnam, look at the cow. This school is flat. The band is flat. The cow is flat. Even the teachers are flat. The dumpsters are by the visitor stand which is also flat. It's just flat. Now I'm flat.

Not the best school, I was very upset with the way i was treated there at that school, I was accused for having a bomb in my bag and I was accused for making shooting threats, I talked to nobody in that school for these accusations to be valid, one of the teachers thought my brief case was a bomb not only was i called the name of a North Korean Dictator, I was also accused for making threats that i never made because im of different race and because i look like the Asian Dictator known for making nuclear bomb threats, I was not happy with a lot of the staff and the way the students are controlled is poor, I should have made a review of this school sooner, theres a lot of racial discrimination in that school and it shows, from my time of being in that school i did not feel safe due to the multiple threats that was made to the school and the students in there, I always had the feeling that with all these threats towards the school I was in an unsafe, this school is poorly managed, and unsafe i would not recommend anyone to attend this school.
