Avis Car Rental

Your staff at the Louisville airport is/are amazing. I arrived late on Sunday evening, after the counter closed and Avis' personnel stayed until I was able to secure my car. I absolutely do not know what I would have done w/o that assistance. Then, when I check the car in again, your counter personnel Tanya was sensational. She walked me through my bill and was able to get me on my way w/a smile and professional explanation. I'm a CEO of an electronics corporation and your staff in Louisville delighted your customers beyond expectation - nicely done!

Deborah was very friendly and welcomed me immediately. She had very good knowledge in the size of car I needed for the price. Will probably rent again for Spring Break!!

I had the pleasure of meeting Ms. Tanya Hudson under unfortunate circumstances on Monday, August 24th, 2020, at the Louisville Airport Avis counter. I had received word that my father did not have much time left. I quickly booked a flight and was also able to rent a car while waiting for my flight to leave. I arrived about 2pm and was obviously in a hurry as I was not sure how much time he had. I cannot put into perfect words how fortunate I feel that Ms. Hudson was at the counter that day. I told her of my father, and in between handling the rental paperwork more efficiently and faster than I thought possible (I have rented cars many many times) she interjected the kindess and most compassionate words while carrying out her required tasks. I am sure the whole process took less than 10 minutes, possibly 5. The way she spoke and the words she said had a way of calming me in a very stressful situation. I actually left the counter with a smile on my face. Because of her efficiency and speed, I arrived at the nursing where my sister was in time for him to tell me he loved me. A short time later he was no longer able to communicate. Let me stress that not only was it her speed and efficiency that made this possible, but the kindness and personal touch she added made so I could take a deep breath and relax as I drove nearly the hour drive to Hodgenville to see him. I am sure without this, I would have had difficulty concentrating on the drive and might have made navigation mistakes, even with the aids the car provided, that would have delayed my arrival, possibly missing the time he was able to talk. Avis is truly fortunate, as is the world in this day and age to have such a kind and compassionate person representing your company. I promise you, I will never forget the brief time I was fortunate enough to meet her and the lasting affect it has had on my life

Great experience, nice vehicle. I did not like the drop off process. Very sketchy , I had to leave the car in the garage and take the keys up to the airport desk. That was too much work and it wasn't posted on a sign. Before my drop off I received a message saying to check in on the app? I never was told to use the app. I feel that this location needs to work on making information signs for the guest.

Avis provided superb customer service from registration to return. I was totally impressed with the staff and minimal time to rent the car, the unit was easy to find and clean, the return was just as smooth. Avis provided the best rental experience I had within the last 5 years. I will definately come to Avis first in the future.
