Very Nice option for a less crowded experience.nDuring Christmas break, The national car rent office is 100’ away with a line of 30 people like 90 min Wait.nPay a little more and get a better car here with far fewernPeople. Sixt has good cars, not necessarily M Benz as advertised, but generally nice and better upgraded vehicles.

[Edit], after reaching support, the overprice was changed. I rented again with no surprises and good as expected service. Thanks! [Edition end]nI was charged for an upgrade without asking for it nor accepting it. Supposedly I was given another car because mine wasn’t ready.

BEWARE: Always protect yourself by walking around the vehicle while recording every little dent and scratch before you drive off.nnChecked in to get our rental car as a Sixt Platinum member, the lady at the front desk started pushing for us to purchase additional rental insurance despite us saying that we already had coverage elsewhere. This made my wife and I a little uneasy (not a good way to start your trip). A week after our trip, I get an email from Sixt saying that I had damaged their car, and highlighted a giant scratch near the front bottom edge. Fortunately I always record videos of the condition of the car before I drive it off the property and upon reviewing my own video sure enough the same scratch was already there before we started our trip. Sixt promptly closed the investigation after I sent through evidence showing it was there before my trip started.nnI'm not sure if they have sketchy business practices or whether they are just very careless in doing their job but regardless I would avoid this place and also always protect yourself by recording videos!

Last time I rented a car from Sixt was in SF and I was very satisfied. However my experience in Miami was quite different. The rates were higher than expected but on top of that customer service was lacking. I got a different car than I expected. I was given wrong information by Sixt t which assured me I can chose the second return location at south beach at no charge but then I was charged extra. Customer service over the phone was lacking as well. I would not rent from them again.

DO NOT GO THERE!!!!!! I went to sixt because they had the car I wanted. ( even though I read all the bad reviews and I still went.) I couldnt take the car because maintenance was due. So I canceled everything. They did not give me any receipts saying that I canceled when I asked them for it. Days after I called and it looked like I had the car and I didn't. I called customer service more than 10 times. At the end the money was refund. A week after i got a letter saying I turned in the car with damage and graffiti paintings. THIS COMPANY IS A TOTOAL SCAM. AVOID THE TROUBLE AND DONT BE LIKE ME. DO NOT GO.
