Avis Car Rental

Avis didn’t have a car for me to rent. I called a got a refund issued. Mind you I didn’t get a car. A week later. Avis charges me 130 from my account fraudulently and saying I have to wait for someone to call me to refund money for a car I never got. It was there fault I got my refund for not getting the damn car and they decide to charge another 130 bucks. Absolutely unacceptable and the fact that. I have to wait for a call back to get money for something I never obtained back is worse

The service was excellent. Paula went beyond customer service to ensure we got exactly was was needed.

Worst customer service ever. Ruined our vacation. Manager was not there or available to help with computer issues. Only 1 service agent with a line out the door. Completely unprofessional and rude! Stay away from this Avis!!

I have been renting with Avis budget group for 2 months. I have a maintenance issue with my vehicle. I came into this location since I was passing through the area. The associate told me I could go to Jiffy lube and get the oil changed myself. I stated this is a rental vehicle I shouldn’t have to be performing maintenance on it since I do not own it. I wanted a simple exchange and they had 20+ cars in the lot. I then spoke to Paulette Daley who is the manger. She claims that Avis customer service which I called earlier to confirm they had vehicles have no idea what her inventory is. Poor communication between the headquarters and her in my opinion. A simple exchange would’ve taken a few minutes. Instead she wanted to refuse costumer service courtesy. She claimed all the 20+ vehicles on the lot needed maintenance. Hard to believe. Very poor communication, costumer service, and hospitality.

The local locations within the city have very less options and also the cars are not so great. The location where I rented from had just one car and that one was reeking of cigarette smoke smell. Now, since that location did not have any other car, I had to drive with that smell throughout my trip...very bad experience!!
