Horrible experience..the reservation was nothing like Priceline.com said it would. Horrible customer service. Will not return!

Hertz employee Derek at the Broad Street location of Hertz is awesome!!nnWe had a snafu with our Hertz car reservation and were not able to make a change online or through the website. It was some sort of computer error. After spending about two hours trying to reach out through the traditional channels of Hertz online and through the 800 numbers, we decided to call the local office to see if anybody could help us. Of course this was on a Saturday. Even though Derek did not help us with the original reservation, he was so nice and solved the problem. He actually reached out to the Hertz manager at the airport who was supposed to be off for the weekend.. Both Hertz manager and Derek went the extra mile to solve our problem and we were able to finally get our reservation changed.

Yesterday I was really about to give up on Hertz! I picked up a rental car at 8:30am and it was disgusting inside and out and we're still dealing with a pandemic so to just give me a car and not even wipe the inside down was scary for me so I immediately called customer service and was told to drive across town and go to another hertz to get it exchanged. I wait for over an hour then get directed to go to another hertz then another hertz because no one had any available cars and then I finally ended up at the one off west broad street and the staff there finally took the time out to help me. The manager Derrick stopped what he was doing and went out in the heat to clean the car for me not one hertz before that even offer to do that and customer service wasn't sure if I would even get my money back if I cleaned it myself not to mention that's what they're supposed to do before they rent out their cars but all in all if I ever need another rental I'll drive across town just for the hertz out there because at least I know the customer service will be good and they'll take care of me!!
