Avis Car Rental

First time user of this service, highly disappointed! Made reservations a week in advance and get all the way there and they canceled our reservation! Nobody called us ahead of time. Apparently “she called” 5 mins before my arrival time. Very ridiculous and unprofessional of this business! They didn’t even attempt to help us with other options for their mistake. Will not be back!

The SUV I was renting wasn't here when they had plenty of time to get it to my location so then I had to rent a Toyota 4 Runner it had a bad inspection sticky and no washer fluid it does now after we had to stop and buy some very disappointed in the service at this location

I wouldn’t even give them 1 star.False Charges!!! Car was not clean on pick-up.Had to clear out clothes from other users. Was not told about the $250 hold on my card and it don’t show in paperwork or receipt so if they don’t tell you or you don’t already know about it. Unprofessional!! $250 holding charge on all rentals.Then charged me $35 days later to fill up their cars that was not given to me fool.They we’re made aware and did not want to fix the problem.It’s unfortunate not may other options but be safe guys!! Stay blessed!!

Good service and quick turnaround at the counter after I landed.

I made a prepaid reservation to drop the car off at this location at 8 pm. The confirmation email said I would need to drop the key in the box because they would be closed. I did that (well before 8:00 in fact), and tried to call the next day several times to make sure that everything was in order. They don't answer the phone. I got a charge for $18.80 on my credit card, so I had to call the national number and spend my time on hold to figure out what that was about. The customer service rep told me in all seriousness that because the place was closed, I got charged an extra fee when they checked it in the next day. He got argumentative with me and told me it was my fault for not making the reservation during business hours. Again, this is a prepaid reservation, made through the Avis website, for this particular time. I explained that I would submit the emailed confirmation of the prepaid reservation with dropoff time and the video I took of myself locking the car and putting the key in the box early along with my dispute to the credit card company, and at that point he decided he could refund the bogus charge after all. Bunch of crooks! Unfortunately the entire industry is like this in my experience, which is why I was expecting it to happen.
