Hertz

Through an insurance claim with statefarm I was given a car with faulty tire, lights on car as I pulled up. I took a video for proof and then called. They told me to get air in my tires. I did three times.nnWhen I came in the store manager ended up following me outside spitting at me calling me a homophobic slur than threatened to beat my a** at 6pm when they close.nnLoved that he told the cops I had weapons and made threats. Loved being frisked and laughing with the police.

Reserved a vehicle, and they had zero vehicles available. No assistance in locating another Hertz vehicle, or any kind of service. Car rental location with no cars to rent? Sounds like a damn scam.

Believe the bad reviews. Save yourself time and money and go elsewhere. The overstaffed, yet underwhelming customer service will leave your credit card overcharged and no one is ever available to help. The manager never returned my phone calls, non management referred me to the 800 # and the 800 corporate number did not fix the problem and just referred me back to the aloof manager.

The staff was very attentive and efficient. I appreciated the extra level of service afforded to me.

If there was a choice of zero stars, that would be my score. I had a reservation for noon. I showed up to pick up a prepaid rental at 11:55 AM on a Saturday and waited until 12:20 PM. NO ONE was there. The lights were off and there was no one inside or on the property. We called the 800 number for Hertz and they tried calling, too and no one answered. I had a very important trip I needed to go on and I now had to postpone it for 3 additional days to await another rental agency. I was unaware that they closed at noon- even though I was there just in time. Why would the system allow you to schedule an appointment for closing time? Any person that saw the reservation time could have called and let us know- that would have been common courtesy. When i called back during business hours on Monday to ask why they were closed and why I could not get my car, the employee claimed that he was there until 12:20- I guess he was invisible as we walked all around the building and all of the lights were off inside and the door was locked. I asked if he was calling me a liar, he said- no ma'am but then hung up on me. Absolutely NO customer service here. Rent elsewhere.
