Hertz Car Rental

Wish I could give more than 5 stars. Best car rental experience I've ever had!nnHad to make a last minute travel change, booked my rental 5 min before my flight took off from Dallas, which was arriving just before midnight. When we were deboarding, the young woman at the counter called me to confirm we were on the flight and still picking up the car and to tell us how to find the Hertz counter.nnWhen we got there, she greeted us with a smile, then got paperwork done and gave us the keys all in under 5 minutes. Car was easy to find and very clean. I suspect she may have had to stay a bit past the end of her shift to make sure we got our reservation but that didn't stop her from being courteous, sweet, and helpful well beyond expectations.nnHertz--this was sunday night 11/8/20. This employee deserves recognition for above-and-beyond customer service.

The check-in process was great. The counter women was very sweet and let us pick the car we wanted. She found our reservation quickly and even explained how it would be easier to use our credit card versus the debit card so we took her advice. The car was brand new and being Toyota, we were familiar with the technology and everything that comes with a car. the best part was she let us pay for the tank of gas up front at a much cheaper price then what we saw during our 5 day stay and the total bill was LESS than what we were thought we would be paying! Turning the car in was sooooo easy too. We will definitely continue to use Hertz for our rental car needs in the future. Thank you!

I was treated so bad the customer service was horrible. The young lady at the counter was so rude. She acted like she didn’t work there couldn’t help me and when she decided to see my reservation after I was there for 20 minutes with no service from her. She saw my reservation and then told me she has no more cars available and to try another company but the other rental companies closed and she new that. I went back the next day and got a rental from Avis with no problem. It’s so sad that hertz would hire someone that doesn’t want to work and doesn’t represent there company correctly or maybe that is acceptable to them because when I called The manager nothing was done not even an apology.

They told me $203 for the car all included, plus $200 security deposit. And they charged me $603. I called them, waited on hold 124 minutes. They told me that i smoked in the car, and thats why they charged me extra. But i never ever smoke entire my life. Now i am in CA, and they are telling me to go to DAYTON location to see the proof. Low rate company! Will never rent any car again. I do not recommend to anybody to rent a car from this company.

We arrived before the close about 10 minutes and the lady who work there she said “ oh we are closed we “ we told her don’t you guys at 12 she said yes . And we told her we want a car she oh sorry there no cars. And there is at least 10 cars out. She is just don’t want do the work and want to leave before time. This just happened few minutes ago.
