Enterprise Rent-A-Car

Never going back there again. It was the first time renting since the pandemic and it’s clear this company needs the money. I used to rent before the pandemic with no problem and the price was nearly half of what it is now. The price for a compact car was around $42 and now it’s $80. My experience this time just wasn’t good at all. It didn’t help that I had Ryan as my representative. He probably asked me about 6-7 times if I wanted to include coverage even when I respectfully declined. I did not like that even after I said no he kept trying to push this coverage. Its almost as if this was a scam and he tried to get back at me for not accepting their coverage. I was only using the car for a day and I actually brought it back early, which it wasn’t due to return till the next day at 7:30 AM. When I brought it back Ryan stated there was a dent on the passenger side door. He claimed it was 5 inches. That was not the case. Then he changed it to 3 inches which still was wrong. When I took the car off the lot it was 7:30AM. It was dark and wet out. He scanned over the car briefly and quickly. There was scratches and dents on the car but he reassured me anything over 6 inches would be considered liable to the person taking over the vehicle. This dent could have been there honestly. I normally video record around the whole car but I’ve used this company so many times in the past that I trusted I was in good hands. That was not the case. Moral of the story is just be aware of the games this company is trying to play in this pandemic. This is not right and I don’t want them to take advantage of another patron like they did myself.

Due to the Pandemic, my personal car has been in the shop for repairs an extensive time. Yet, Chris Johnson, at ENTERPRISE, Mineola location made my transition into a rental smooth sailing. He’s hospitable, courteous and friendly. His “GOOD VIBES” energy is contagious!!!

Beware this place is a ripe off. I was instructed to go to this exact enterprise by my collision center. I was greeted by a man named Nick, horrible customer service skills I've ever encountered in my life .When I arrived I was advised that They did not have a car within the means that my insurance would cover, I had to settle for what they had I was never offered any accommodation nor reduction because they didn't have a car within my budget they never offered to work with me in any way, the funny part is there was a caucasian male who came in the same time as me was working with another gentalmen and was over a reduction in price because they didn't have what he needed . NICK never disclosed the actual cost per day of the only sedan they had available nor did he explain how much I would pay with the credit from my insurance company .When I returned the car 1/13/21, 1 day before the day it was due. I was greeted my a man named CHRIS who said he was the manger he advised me of what my bill was and I was in shock , he barely knew what he was talking about because a charge he mentioned was inaccurate, he then advised me that he would have the repressive who helped me that day handle and that I wouldn't be charge my card on file . I spoke with NICK again on 1/14/21 and his excuse was this should already be known and that I should know how this works.In my experience in customer service every person you speak with you treat them all the same and explain and go over every bit of detail even if its not necessary which was not done.When I last spoke with Nick I was advised that he would be speaking with the higher up regarding my dispute of the over all charge and I would hear back from him by 1/20 the latest (no phone call as of yet ) at that point my card still was not charged , the day after I spoke with him on 1/15 I see they charged me the full amount with out my permission and I have still have not hear back from NICK . This is fraud and such a disgusting way to run a business.nn1/27-/21- This is a follow up from my previous review , I have yet to hear back from a regional manger for this location regarding my dispute .How ironic is that they are so quick to take my money but drag their feet when it comes to a customers concern and having it addressed . What a discussing way to run a business. They try and a do damage control but don't actual help the customer.WHAT A SHAME.
