I came to Budget Car Rental here at the BP gas station and was taken care of by Ronnie Solitario, and excellent manager; he was courteous and kind to me and my wait time was minimal. Considering the gas station was busy, I think they did well with assisting me with my rental. Ronnie even helped lower my rental cost based on me just asking. I appreciated all his help and the convenience of this location! Thank you to the staff.
This Avis branch did not follow any covid 19 sanitizing protocols. And actually rented me a vehicle that reeked of Marijuana. When I contacted the the branch manager about this I was simply told to exchange the vehicle at the airport. As a Avis Preferred Customer I was not treated as such and this is by far the worst Avis experience I have had yet.
The price was very reasonable for a compact car. Actually, it was my cheapest option of all the car rental places I researched. I ended up getting a 2020 Kia Rio for under $100 for the day. The service was great and the car was nice. I had a very comfortable round trip drive from Long Island to Philadelphia.
I've been an Avis customer for years. I chose this location for convenience, this first and last time. Absolutely no way I should have waited 30 minutes for a car that has an unpleasant smell. While the rep was detailed in his work, I've seen better crews from other locations, with less help, do a lot better. I'd rather inconvenience myself going to my local Avis locations,w here I know the service is more respectable.
It was good overall. On my way findout there is no windshield fluid.
