Hands down , if you need a rental vehicle just walk away from their desk. This company specializes in providing DEFECTIVE equipment for the same great price of Every other company whose fleet actually work. The nerve of these corporations charging full price for Bucket style vehicles. I'm a gold-plated member ud83dude44 but that counts for nothing. EVERYTIME I rent from Hertz I pay to drive their lemons ud83cudf4b.

Before posting allow me to say I’ve used this exact location several times and had no problem, until today...nI recently returned from a weekend one way rental. Apparently during my trip a pouch containing cash and other small important items fell out from one of my bigger bags. Items included jewelry, an EZ Pass and money for traveling. Upon discovering the bag was no longer in my possession, I called Hertz’s Lost and Found department. No answer. Ok, it’s early I’ll call later.nEvery 30 minutes for hours I called with no answer. Finally I said enough and went to the Hertz location at the airport to get my bag back.nSurprise, surprise, no one found the bag in my car. This bag contained $3000-$4000 cash and the employees were no help. No one was willing to go look at the car, WHICH WAS STILL ON SITE, or do anything besides tell me nothing can be done.nnSo whoever cleaned the car just had a good pay day.

The lady inside the airport Hertz location was amazing. She had a wonderful and friendly personality. I would have given 5 stars for the way she treated me alone, but...nnWe returned the car today. As we parked the vehicle in the Hertz parking spot, two men appeared on the side of us, about 25 feet away. One was on foot and the other was in the vehicle. They glanced at us as we emptied our belongings, however, the guy in the car turned the vehicle around and shined the lights on us in broad daylight and sat and stared at us. Wanting to make sure this was really happening, we slowed the pace down for about 15 minutes and sure enough the guy in the vehicle kept his eyes pierced on us. It was weird and uncomfortable. It was almost like he was a predator of some sort. I quickly walked inside to hand over the keys and not address what happened with the lovely woman. I just wanted out.nnNow, the day that we picked up the vehicle, we drove off trusting that it was gold star cleaned as they say. Greater than halfway down the road, I opened a cup holder to place a drink inside and to my surprise it was filled with crushed chips from whoever had the car before! We pulled over and, upon further inspection, noticed there were crumbs all in the back and the far back seats were moist and smelled funny. I called customer service and got the runaround and no solution. Over $400 later and no resolution. I will notify corporate of what occurred as it is greater than what I will type here.nnI want to say that because of the two creepers, I will not rent from Hertz again! Totally inappropriate.

Good Morning,nnI frequently rent cars from the Rochester Airport for work. I used Expedia to schedule a rental car at 1295 Scottsville Rd Rochester NY. When I arrived at the location I realized it was a private airport and they told me I needed to pick my car up at the airport 1200 Brooks Ave.nnI drove to the Airport and paid for parking. When I went inside I explained the inconvenience to the female employee working the counter. Instead of offering assistance she asked if I read that it was a private airport. When I explained that it was booked through Expedia she laughed and said “you should of used our site”. When I asked her what was funny she rolled her eyes. Why would I book through the website if Expedia is offering a cheaper rate?nnI asked to speak to a manager and she called “Nick from her cell phone”. Nick called the location and she handed me a dirty corded phone without sanitizing it. Nick also offered zero assistance and told me to call Expedia for a refund. As I hung up the employee yelled saying I was “lying”. How embarrassing?nnWhen I called Expedia they had to call Hertz to issue the refund for me which took 45 minutes to get approval. Finally my reservation was cancelled and the refund was issued. This was a $29 car rental that cost me 3 hours of missed time at work, gas, and parking fees.nnI am considering reporting this location to Monroe County Health Department because the female employee had her mask pulled down under her nose and she used the cordless phone before handing it me. If I get COVID-19 it’s probably from your location at the airport.nnThe employee needs to be held accountable and the manager needs to work on training his team to deliver consistent customer service. Also I have worked closely with the Health Department I can ensure you that they will not tolerate this type of negligence. Your customers deserve better than this and I will go out of my way to ensure it.nnBBB next

I had scheduled the rental in advance, but when I got to town there was a huge snowstorm that had come through. The staff upgraded my car to one with AWD so I wouldn't get stuck out in the weather. It ended up helping out more than I had anticipated. I was visiting my grandmother who had a stroke. I didn't think the rental choice being one that would bring me joy in the moments when I was alone driving to and from the hospital. The staff cared about how my overall experience would be and it was appreciated.
