Enterprise Rent-A-Car

Received a dirty car, with a driver seat that wouldn’t stay upright. Pulled over, tried to call, couldn’t get through. Drive right to rental place and it was agreed car was dirty. Was given a new car, but they only had an upgraded sports car, which was honestly too much for me but my only option. I was given a verbal apology, and told don’t worry about filling tank when you bring it back for the inconvenience. I was also told I could call in a couple days as some cars would be coming in, and they would exchange. I asked if I needed to sign anything, was told “no” he updated in his system so I left. The car was a Dodge Challenger, which I know most would like to have, but was too much for me especially in the winter. I called and a woman said I could come and swap out and listed about 3 types of vehicles available. At no time did she mention there would be additional charges. When I returned, she tried putting me in a compact economy car. It would never work for mate with kids and their sports equipment. I just asked for anything a little bigger, and was told I would have to pay more. This is after I was told for all my inconvenience, the 25 min ride to get there, and a filthy, unsafe car I was given, I would not incur any additional fees. Finally, the apparent store manager came over, brought outside and imagine that, there was a smaller keep suv sitting right there. Mind you, I was turning in one a much more expensive rental. Again, I was told I did not need to refill tank and there would be no additional fees, and that I did not need to sign anything. I also had someone with me who heard all of this. Well, guess what? They charged me for gas and additional fees for the car!!!! And are trying to say I signed the agreement!!! Additionally, my insurance agent contacted them about the coverage and she said they were extremely rude to her, and she would never recommend them as a rental place. I would never rent from her. And if you do, make sure you get any changes in writing.

First time getting a rental due to my car being in the shop. Wasn't sure what to expect - originally I was happy with the quick service and getting the rental. I figured since I got the cheapest thing there I shouldn't have been surprised getting a beat up car. There a noticeable dent on the roof, and the back seats were dirty and stained.nnAs long as I got to work I didn't care.nnExtending everything was short, sweet, simple.nnLater when turning in the car I was blamed for the dent that was preexisting.nnBeing new to all this I asked my family for help.nnI never got a pre-damage walk around, or past damage check from the older rental, nor was told I was to check out the car.nnLuckily I took a photo of the car to show my mother the day off.nnNeedless to say it left a sour taste in my mouth and I'll be dealing elsewhere.nnTwo stars for the customer service when I needed to extend. Honestly being blamed for something I didn't do ruined my whole experience. Otherwise I'd highly recommend.nnPlease tell someone to look at the car with you and to take pictures the same day so they don't try to blame you for something.

Extremely unprofessional! My car was considered a total loss. My insurance said they work with Hertz. I’ve never rented from them before. I got the car but when I brought it back there was absolutely no one there during hrs of operation. I called the emergency number the employee was on break. I was told to leave it on desk and they’ve never sent me any paperwork as they should’ve. I was already charged prior. Almost a month later I seen a charge from them again. I called so they can explain the employee at this location was extremely rude and aggravated. I then ask for his manager. He gave me the number, I called and left a voicemail and NEVER got a return call. Now today I see a “tow” charge of over six dollars. Out of thin air they keep charging my account with my card on file. I’ve never had this problem with ANY rental company. I will consider this fraud! SomeOne should’ve emailed me the paperwork as i requested since I had no choice to get it during drop off. Don’t trust this company

Never again-nGot here and had rented a standard car. Was given a Jeep Wrangler, not the same thing. The Jeep wasn’t even ready! Called to confirm everything was CORRECT on Monday and nothing was. Our booking was totally screwed up and took an additional hour to get the vehicle. And please explain to me how a company makes up its own taxes?! Unreal.

East Amherst location is A1. All the others are subpar at best. Just my opinion.
