Horrible service received additional charges incorrectly. No ez pass in the car inconvenient. No drop box at location inconvenient. I will never do this location again

I have made up my mind it is time for me to purchase a car after renting from this company. I have had the worst experience with the Avis on Sheridan. I have been renting from them since the summer of 2009. I do not trust the Avis on Sheridan in Amherst. I have a problem when someone tries to charge my card extra money after the contract has been closed out. Secondly I do not appreciate being charged a different rate after the car has been returned, then given some flimsy excuse about the AWD numbers that was used to rent the car was not allowed to be used. Then they should not have allowed me to rent the car. Changing the price when returning has caused me to incur fees from my bank. I cannot trust doing business with this company anymore.

Horrible service!!!! Main st, gave me a car that was unsafe to drive as well as on Empty. Took it back to the airport since main st closed after giving me the car, they downgraded me to a smaller car. Took the downgrade to Sheridan and they gave me a different car but tried to tell me they weren’t charging me for the gas I used in the downgrade even tho I drove from airport to home and home to Sheridan. Except they keep skipping the fact that I had to put gas in the first car to get it to the airport since it was “unfit” as the kid in the garage at Avis airport stated. Every car has been dirty and have not gotten a straight answer from not one rep. As well as everyone has been miserable and nasty

Avis in comparison to the other companies is straight forward, No hassle, In and drive out, Easy and stress free, No unnecessary documentation needed other then your credit card and drivers license. I will forever remain an Avis customer for whenever I need a vehicle in a moments notice.

Waited 45 minutes after checking in online for Lisa to give me something I didn't rent. The only person who knows what's going on is Frank. This lady Lisa, messed up money and four others. Don't go to this one. Find something better. No parking for customers. To much confusion for this lady. She ringing around with this bandana not even on her face. Stay away.
