Enterprise Rent-A-Car

I have been relying on Enterprise for all my car rental needs, for a year now. And the kind of customer service I get from 120 Hoosick branch is phenomenal. Carter Schroff and Chris Smalls have always been super good and helpful to me and any of my friends who visit this branch. I cant remember how many times Carter has helped me in getting a car at the last minute and in the case of emergencies when I urgently needed a car. And, Chris with his charm is always there to help me with my queries and all other sorts of insurance and bill related issues. I have really never experienced this kind of attentive, warm and helpful service from anywhere else. Carter and Chris definitely deserve some raises.

Originally I had a car rental from Bronx, NY and on my trip upstate the car started to stutter as I would come to a stop or began to accelerate, I believe it may have been a timing belt issue. However, I stopped by this Enterprise in Troy and the level of customer service I received from Chris Smalls was impeccable. He listened to the issues and safety concerns my wife and I were having with our rental and was able to swap vehicles and Meagan Coons also made sure the car was clean and even provided us with extra Clorox wipes. Keep up the great work!

So many problems with this place that I don’t know where to begin! We should have an option for ZERO stars! This car was rented through my insurance while my vehicle was in the shop.When I went to pick up my car (had a reservation) I had to wait over 30 minutes in line and then they tried to give me a dirty car inside and out with stained seats and nasty smell. The only car available other than that was another car that was dirty inside. They claim to sanitize their vehicles because of Covid. Well, the way they do this is by leaving 2 wipes in the car for the renter to wipe it down themselves. The cars driver side mirror was defective (film was peeling off) it was very hard to see. What a hazard! How is this car being rented like this? So on the way home it started raining. I turned on the wipers and the passenger side wiper didn’t work properly (didn’t wipe away water). So I called the office when I got home and they said I had to go to either Pep Boys or Adirondack Tire to get it replaced. So I have to waste my valuable time to do their job! When I returned the car, they charged me for gas. When I picked up the car it was not full. I had to go in and tell them and they marked it at 7/8. So now when I put the gas in across the street from the location when I returned it I had to try and judge when it was 7/8. So I returned it, it was pretty much 7/8, they say no, it’s at 3/4, I say no it’s more than 3/4, but at this time I just want to get out of there because I already waited 40 minutes in line to check the car back in! So now fast forward a few weeks and now I have a charge on my credit card for $9. No notice from them via email or regular mail. They try to sneak this charge in. I had my own Ezpass on Velcro to the windshield the ENTIRE time. So I call and hold for 20 minutes and they tell me all these things I need to do to get it fixed. It’s crazy that I have to do so many things to try and get a $9 charge removed! Stay away from this place!

The team of people that helped us at the Troy location were outstanding.nChris Smalls and Brandon Kinsey went above and beyond to help me rent a car on short notice. I highly recommend renting a car from Enterprise and I value these two employees. I appreciate the care and kindness they gave to me. They are an asset to your company. They not only helped me but I noticed the care and attention they gave to the other 5 customers, as well! These two individuals have a strong work ethic, a keen eye for attention to detail and excellent customer care skills. Thank you for all your help!

I have been renting cars with Enterprise for nearly 30 years. This Troy store keeps up the good impression I have always had of Enterprise and her staff. We were in a car accident and needed a rental quickly. Just the right car was provided within 24 hours and the staff worked with me and the insurance company, without any hassle, from start to finish. I am grateful.
