Long wait due to covid. Plan accordingly. Make your reservation ahead of time.nnHertz is probably understaffed because staff were overwhelmed with work but they are absolute professionals.nn11/10 for their attitude. They went beyond their working hours (happily) to help an elderly person who needed help to figure out pick and drop off location.nn(only 2 working when I went there). They were extremely courteous and helpful.

Be careful renting a vehicle from this location and make sure you check your rental document carefully before you take the vehicle and take pictures of the vehicle and the fuel gauge. I rented an SUV with half tank gas on 3/5 and the guy who handed the key to me told me that it has half tank gas. I returned the vehicle on 3/8 with more than half tank gas. Now Hertz charged me $70 for the gas, and they are saying that they gave me the vehicle with full tank and I returned it empty. These guys are crooks.

Wish there was an option for 0 stars. Booked a car this morning, show up at the allotted time and the place is closed.nnHours today were 11am-5pm and we were here at 4pm. Don't know if an employee decided to leave early to get a jump start on their holiday shopping but we were left without a car this evening.nnUnreliable but thankfully the enterprise in Hoboken was open to save the day. Go there instead.

Overall a satisfactory experience but the Avis down the road has a consistently better (eg Apple CarPlay as standard) and newer fleet of cars.

I came in super last minute after having some car problems of my own today. Rameem was so patient and willing to explore all possible options to get me back on the road. Thank you, Rameem!
