Avis Car Rental

I have rented from this location many times through out the last year with covid. The staff is extremely helpful and efficient. Specifically the manager, Lenny. They are always accommodating. Overall great customer service.

Great experience!! Needed a rental for my trip since I wasn't able to have my car maintenanced in time. It was a very last minute decision and the whole process was really smooth. I booked my rental Friday night and picked it up next day before work. I initially thought I would end up late but the process only took 5mins tops. The car was nice and clean but only had half a tank at pick up. Car drove nicely, was spacious, and everything worked. Drop off was just as quick and easy as pick up. Mentioned to the representative about the tank not being full at pick up but still returned the car with a full tank of gas and was refunded half which was really nice. So overall I was very happy.

I was quoted when I left Hoboken for $61 for my trip and I was charged over $100 when I dropped the car off. They tried to charge me for 660 miles when I drove 187. The woman at the drop off location was nice enough to fix the mileage discrepancy but I wasn't supposed to be charged for mileage. My original receipt when I left Hoboken estimated my total bill of $61 and that was not the case. I tried to call and get the claim sorted before Thanksgiving and of course NO ONE HAS CALLED ME BACK. I've tried calling back several times and I can't get anyone on the line to help reconcile this issue. DO NOT RENT FROM AVIS!

i had a pleasant experience picking up the car. it was quick, efficient, they didnt make me fill out anything extra. dropping off was easy too. car was fine. price was very reasonable

Lenny and the Hoboken Team are awesome! They are always very friendly and I get wonderful service all the time!
