Budget Car Rental

I reserved my vehicle a week and a 1/2 ahead of time and called to confirm that it was there the day before. The woman in the office confirmed that it was there in their driveway. The next morning the woman called me and told me they don't have a vehicle for me they never did. This agency is completely incompetent.

Ms. Sheila was a delightful and had perfect customer service. She was a big help getting me and my sister a very reliable and nice vehicle. I would love to rent a car from her again.

Worst rental experience I’ve ever had.nWhen I arrived, I was charged a $60 increase than quoted because of an hour time difference.nI’ve rented cars for years from pretty much everywhere, among standard brand name national rental companies, minute time differences should be a non-issue. And at other budgets I’ve known it to be a non issue. After disputing this for over half an hour I managed to get my correct amount.nnDuring the trip, I was witness to an accident involving someone else. When the police arrived I realized there is no insurance or registration in my rental vehicle.nI called the local number to resolve this & was re-routed to national customer service, and nobody helped me.nnUpon returning, I was told because I had a pet I would be charged a $250 cleaning fee.nI did have a lapdog sitting in the passenger seat of the car, and I understand the logic of this but I was never made aware of this before hand.nAnd I have rented vehicles with my dog before and this has never been an issue. Perhaps because I usually rent from JFK, where they can properly clean.nAnyways, at the manager’s suggestion I took the vehicle to have it cleaned elsewhere. I spent 1.5 hours driving to 3 different car washes in Caldwell NJ, (because one was full and one only did exteriors).nUpon returning I was told that the car was still not clean. But the manager would do me a courtesy and charge only $100.nI found this to be ludicrous, b/c i has cleaned it, and had they not known about the dog previously they wouldn’t have taken the gloved finger out.nAlso, the car had no floor mats, which would have really helped with the cleaning process.nnAnyway, I found this particular location to have a locally run 'we-do-what-we-want-vibe', very cavalier. But it has turned me off Budget in general, and i will be making sure not to rent from them in the future, at any location.

Great customer service and easy rental process

I discovered this car rental through my employer’s site and booked right away. They have great deals! Sheila was my representative and also the manager of this location and was very quick, accommodating, kind, and had me in and out of this location with a great car in less than 5 mins! I highly recommend coming to her at this location for all your car rental needs!
