Hertz

I needed a vehicle and was gonna drop off on labor day. I was told by 2 different managers that someone would be there to give the keys. Well, no one was there. And I had to scramble on trying to figure out how to leave the keys.nCommunication is key with me, and this is a big deal. Don't tell me something just cause. The last thing I needed was a headache... I might not order from this company ever again.

Found it was under New ownership this past Fall 2018 and the customer service was fantastic, plus the car was great. They informed me that I can have the car drooped at the airport and leave it there when I fly out! They also gave me a ride, within 5 miles, to my hotel!

As a rental agency, they are always easily found. They have a shared location with a car wash. This location does not have a large or wide variety of vehicles; therefore It is important to reserve your preferences/ vehicle in advance. They do allow one to leave their vehicle at their location and on premises, without additional fees. Their prices are not the most conservative although we were pleased that they upgraded our vehicle upon request..

This is my first ever review of a place, but I had such a rotten experience with Hertz.nnI called and scheduled a vehicle rental, giving claim number and details.nI call a week prior to confirm, but they've lost my assignment. I call my insurance who settles it with them and then call back to confirm a time, they can't find my assignment.nI went back and forth and they lost my assignment or claimed that I'd cancelled 5 times before I got them and my Claims Department and I on the phone to finally confirm a pick-up.nnI go in to pick up the vehicle at the scheduled time, doors are locked. I wait till someone arrives and they can't find my pick-up.nnI'm sorry, but the service and follow through is pathetic and with Enterprise just right down the road, the only thing Hertz offered was a cheaper experience... but that's the problem, it was all cheap from staff on down.

Having just left a one star rating for another local car rental agency, I was not surprised to see low ratings for Hertz. In general, customer service in our country is on a major decline. However, after a frankly scary experience at another local agency today, we found the customer service at Hertz to be very good. Yes, their selection was limited and the cars were not as well cared for as where we used to do business, but perhaps they do a lot more local driving business. We received prompt service and a good car. Just what we needed. And as for the other business in town - there were no cars. Okay, there was one car. But the customer service was scary.
