I booked an SUV and then went into the local store to ask a few questions prior to the day of rental. One of those questions was about picking the vehicle up and how to do that in the quickest way possible as I would have to come quickly on my lunch break at work. That was handled and we had no problems there. I also asked a specific time to pick the car up and let them know that I could only take my break when all of my nurses and patients were settled for a while as I’m a charge nurse and can’t usually leave campus. I was told that as long I was there before closing that it was no big deal. When I went back to actually pick up my rental SUV I was told that because I wasn’t there by noon that they had cancelled my reservation and given my SUV to someone else. I was told they didn’t have anything for me to drive and that if I would just postpone my trip for a day then they would try to have one there for me the following day. This was not a “fun” trip and definitely couldn’t be postponed. After standing my ground that I HAD to have a car to drive, explaining that I had even taken extra steps to make sure the process would be quick and that I could come whenever I was able to and even offering to drive 40 minutes to another location to get an SUV, I think they finally just wanted me to leave and said they could probably let me drive one of their vans and figure something else out for the customer supposed to be getting that van. Definitely did not want a van or I would have booked a van, but I had no other option at this point. The van ran terribly and I was worried it wouldn’t even make to my destination and back. It was “missing” quite a bit while driving and I’m fairly certain it had a bubble in a tire as the drive was not smooth at all. I have used enterprise for the last few rentals I’ve gotten and so have my friends and family but after this experience with not even an apology and the local store acting as if I did something wrong rather than it 100% being their fault, we will all be looking into the other local companies.

Great price for the rental, sadly they didn't have the car I had reserved two week before. I had rented a full size sedan, and they only had a compact car available and wanted me to take that. They refused to upgrade me without me paying a large difference. After spending a hour arguing with the sales person they found me a full size car they had in the shop getting worked on. It worked out in the end but it was frustrating that you take time to reserve a vehicle then they don't have it.

I was able to rent a car on short notice. The suv I was given was absolutely beautiful and I had zero issues on the road—-I was so sad to return it! Lol! The reservation process was quick and easy as well as pickup and drop off. I will definitely be renting again!!!!

I have gotten rentals from other Enterprises and it was a good experience, nothing to write a review about but still as expected and smooth sailing. However, I had to get a rental from this Ashland location and it’s been a nightmare. When I got there they had only one vehicle available for me to use and that was a car when we had asked for an SUV, and the worse part about it is that the car has ROACHES!! Not wood roaches, no, common household roaches.nnWhen I picked the car up they had to rush and “finish cleaning it” but I actually had to disinfect the steering wheel because it was dirty (like visible dust and grim), and I don’t think they checked it over thoroughly. Plus side is that without hesitation they are putting me in a new car, but I am still worried to death one has followed me inside my home.

Very quick and easy rental process, straightforward and great prices. They followed all COVID-19 guidelines and made me feel safe while I was renting!
