Hertz

James was great help. Rented with Booking, and the process was smooth. Car was fine.

Literally the worst customer service I have ever received in my life. Three people working. All act like you don’t exist. Major attitude problem. Had to contact hertz customer service for help and they were great. But I am appalled at how my friend and I were treated.

Someone driving the hertz van was less than a foot from T-boning me today at 11:30am by running a stop sign and driving way above the speed limit on Springfield somewhere between Neil and third street. Didn’t even try to stop because they were driving so fast. Thankfully I stomped my breaks out of adrenaline from the speeding van before it almost hit my car. Take accountability for those driving the company van.

Good customer service, great car. Bathroom not clean at all.

The car I rented smelled strongly of smoke and despite multiple requests to switch cars, I had this same car for three miserable weeks. Furthermore, I found a tin of weed in the car, indicating to me that this car was not cleaned properly (in an era of Covid). Lastly, the female representative at Hertz was beyond frustrating and unhelpful. When I asked her for the license plate number of the car to pay missed tolls, she turned me away four separate times stating she could not give it to me without my contract number (I never received that number electronically and did not have the physical copy of the receipt any longer). At one point she even told me I'd be paying a steep fee if I did no pay the toll myself, but still said she could not/would not look up the license plate number of the car and that I could try calling corporate, but would probably get the same response. Finally my boyfriend called and was successful in getting a hold of the manager--who was able to look up the license plate number (with no contract number) and gave it to us within minutes.
