Long Lewis is a great place to rent a car from! but what’s not so great is when the salesperson keep getting my transactions wrong on the days that I am renting a car. I been renting a car since 5/21 and I never had any problems renting ud83eudd26‍♀ufe0f until the younger woman started to take my card payments over the phone. I just like whenever the Manager is in the rental department to take my card payments over the phone. Every time it’s the younger woman, She tells me a whole different amount that I owe which is wrong, when I’m looking right at my card statements!!!! This is her second time doing this to me. I literally freaked out when she told me 415.00! when my card has already been charged for the 174.40 of that 415.00 from the days of 07/03 to 07/07. Than she tells me my card declined over the phone When I told her I would like more days added until next Tuesday. and that’s when she said would you like your card charged for the whole 415.00 since you are keeping the car until next Tuesday. And that’s the part that confused me really bad because My card was already charged for the 174.40 on 07/03 up until 07/07 from when the Manager got me situated. And my bank statements clearly show “TRANSACTION CLEARED, except the 242.00 that is still pending to be taking off which I have until Tuesday to Turn in the car, not Monday !!! She also was trying to charge me 138 more dollars until Monday when AGAIN! she has my transactions wrong on her side!!!! Like I really feel like I’m getting over or being overcharged! Like I have proof/statements the amounts she told me I owe have been taken off the same exact day I renew whenever the manager answers my phone calls. Like I’m wondering how are the transactions showing up in long Lewis system!! Rant Over ud83dude11

My previous review was taken down. I booked a car two weeks in advance and was given an estimate. I called thirty minutes before I arrived to pick up the car and was told it was ready. When I get there I was told there was no reservation for me nor was there a car available. I politely said I just talk to a gentleman on the phone and the lady at the desk made it seem like I called the wrong place even though when I called the number put to her it was the correct number. Then when a gentleman walked in I told I think I just got off the phone with and he called me by my last name then I asked him about the car and stated that he had a Ford Fusion even though I asked for a for mustang which I was told would be ready when I called thirty minutes ago. They didn’t have a reservation nor the car I booked. So he went and got a car off the lot. The lady proceeded to tell me in a very rude tone that I need to bring it back on full. When I get in the car I had five miles till empty. I went back in and ask did I still have to and the guy said no. The lady had very poor customer service and the guy didn’t seem like he knew what he was doing. And even while I was waiting on my car the girl would let the phone just ring off the hook while she sat on her phone. I have never had this problem with them before.

Wonderful customer service! Janice went above & beyond to help! I will use them again & again! I called @5pm on Friday... 30 minutes before closing time with an emergency car rental need for my family of 7. My van was getting new brakes and tire rotation at another local repair shop so we could head out the following morning for our beach vacation. The van was promised to be ready that afternoon, well long story short @4:30 we were told it was going to be Tuesday before my van would be ready for pick up. Did I mention we were headed to the beach?!? It’s 4th of July week and not many rentals available, certainly not 7 passenger luxury but that’s what we got! Janice you helped us have some much needed R&R and for that I will be forever thankful & loyal to you & LL! Thanks again!
