Enterprise Rent-A-Car

The policy regarding my current address not being the address on my license is beyond absurd. I have been renting from Enterprise for many years. I even brought in bills with my name and new address. I recently moved so obviously the address on my license isnt my current address. I am so disappointed and extremely livid about my recent experience. I will no longer be renting from Enterprise nor will I suggest this company to anyone. I intend to spread the word everywhere I can to not rent from this company.

Not only did they give me a car that reeked of smoke after I signed where I would not, they had the gall to tell me I brought it back not full when they gave it to me 1/4th full. I thankfully took a picture when leaving the place and was able to prove it. I am an Enterprise Gold Member but will never use these people again! Horrible customer service!

They would not rent me a car because I didn't have a credit card. I had a debit card but needed two utility bills with my physical address on them. My car had broken down and had to be towed. I had no way home. I did find one power bill that I pay on line. They said I needed two. It looks like to me with extenuating circumstances like that, one bill would do. Now I need to find a way home 2 counties away.

Reserving a vehicle was very easy. I could appreciate the fact that call the day before to ensure that I still needed the vehicle. The COVID guidelines in place were great and made me feel safe. The return process was very easy and moved swiftly. I will definitely use them in the future.

Today I waited over hour for my car , and very understaffed today. The salesperson was very pleasant and did as best as she could humanly possible to do. But I over heard of a conversation and enterprise employee with the sales woman who happens to be African Americans, he told her as a joke that because she forgot to do a work related task. That he should give her 30 beatings with the a lasso rope .... I was disturbed and quite shocked that in car rental business. That of work culture and racial defamation of insensitivity would be present. The experience was very painful reminder of horrors of slavery in this country.....
