Never again. 1 star is about 3and half too many. Rented a car and shaking a little at low speeds. Got on interstate for a 12 hour drive. Insane vibrations none stop. Called the store I rented it from and was told to stop by the next hertz. Stopped and as soon as I told them what was going on all they said was they had no cars. Didn’t even want to look at it. Found the next location same thing. Started calling all they would say was they had no cars. Called corporate and they told me to just either take it back to where I got it from or keep stopping and calling other stores. If they don’t care about their cars why should I. So I will drive it

So we got a rental through out insurance company with HERTZ in Oxford, Alabama. We picked up our SUV and drove it home that afternoon and it stayed parked till Tuesday morning. My wife noticed it had a low front right tire on Monday night. She got up that morning to take kids to a location and tire PSI showed 20 psi. She drove the SUV to the gas station at the end of our street to place air in tire. That morning she call road side service with HERTZ and they told her to take the vehicle to Firestone in Gadsden, Alabama. The gentleman called and was on hold for 45 minutes waiting to get approved to replace tire due to screw was in sidewall. After continues to hold the gentleman said we will cover replacement of the tire. The gentleman at Firestone also advised them they should never rented this SUV due to both front tires were below DOT standards. HERTZ roadside then gave Firestone a PO number to cover the cost of the tire. The next day or two we had a $130.00 charge to our credit card for the cost of the tire. So, Friday, January 22, 2021 the rental was returned back to the location with 3 day rental out of pocket. The person named Jason was very disrespectful to my mother-in-law about everything. She had me on speaker phone and Jason refused to talk to me over the phone and said the charge for the tire will be our responsibility. Our insurance company had advised us when this all happened they were going to cover the cost, but Jason trying to change us for the cost. I do not recommend anyone use this HERTZ location!

Never knew this place was here. Very friendly and I had no issues. Will definitely use again.

We reserved a pick up truck only to be told the day before they didn't have it. They tried to substitute with a cargo van or SUV. Waste of time. Thank God for Budget...came through at last minute! Hertz was a waste of time; should have just been honest in the first place.

It was good for my first time renting a car. The employee could have been nicer, since it was my first time renting a car, and i told him that. He laughed when i didn't know about a $50 deposit my ins company didn't tell me about. He said we can't just let you have a car. Yes the heck you can when ins has already talked to you. Paid it and left. Be known, they can withdraw money when they feel like it. $24.99 because they called and asked about a totally different car i drive and was told it was not there being fixed. Making me look like a thief, and feeling like one.
