Enterprise Rent-A-Car

I rent from this place all the time. My previous experiences were all great. However, this is the third time in a row that I do not get the car that I reserved. I made a reservation for a standard car but when I came to this location they did not have one available. So they upgrade me to an SUV. The first SUV they gave me smelled terrible (cigarette smoke) even that I told the guy I cannot stand cigarette smoke. Since I had a mask on I couldn't smell it until I got home. I came back to exchange it. I had to wait for almost two hours to get another car. I got another SUV which was nicer and smelled better. However, this caused me to spend a lot more money on gas as I drove to Florida. They need to improve on having the car one reserves.

I choose enterprise because of the offer to pick me up and drop me off. I am a disabled senior. I rented a vehicle twice within a two week period because my car has broken down. I don't have any alternative transportation and needed to go to the doctor, pharmacy and grocery store. Enterprise rentals were twice the price of their competitors, but because of the pick up and drop off service I chose enterprise. The first rental I was provided transportation. I live less than 10 miles away from the enterprise location.nOn the second rental two weeks later, enterprise refused to pick me up. Because of this I then had to call a taxi to take me to pick up the rental car. This less than 10 mile ride cost me an additional $23.75! What troubles me, besides the extra cost involved, is that the recording on the enterprise phone line states several times that they provide pick up and drop off services. Since enterprise has suspended their transportation feature this recording should be corrected with their current policy. Also a reduction in cost of the rental should be provided. This is false advertising to state they will pick you up and drop you off over and over on the recorded message that played while I was on hold. On my return of the 2nd rental I was told by the male manager in a very impolite manner, that they would not drive me home. I had several bags of groceries with me. I felt as if enterprise had not only presented the policy of transportation falsely, I also felt helpless left out on the curve trying to manage walking with a cane and my groceries. I wonder how a company can leave a disabled senior or anyone without a ride? I went back inside to ask to use the phone to call a taxi (I do not have a cell phone) I again asked if they would please reconsider and ride me home. The male manager reluctently agreed, however, he very rudely told me that I should never again expect them to provide transportation if I rent another vehicle from them. My main issue is not only the rude manner in which I was spoken to by the male manager, but if you are going to change your business policy then STOP advertising that you provide transportation! I gave 3 stars one for each of the 3 other employees who were very nice.

Service is great. Always has the car I purchase online, if not they give me a upgrade at no charge. Great customer service. Will rent another car next year for vacation from them, and cheaper than other car rentals. Thanks.

We rented a van for our trip to Florida. It was not ready when we originally went to pick it up, but it was cleaned and ready to go in about an hour. The employees were very quick and friendly. The van was great! It was a great ride and was very gas efficient.

Your reps went above and beyond. Very courteous and professional. Had the car ready when I arrived and a very fast check out. Thanks a ton florence kuntucky enterprise. Well rent again when in this part of the country.
