The car quality was good. But mostly, the price was the best. I liked Avis and will definitely rent from Avis again!
Typical braindead Aggies. We made a Priceline reservation and due to airline changes, asked the Avis desk in CLL airport to make a change in the reservation and the agent said she could. I asked if the change would result in the same price, she assured me it would. We then saw an $18 increase. ATTHE DESK we asked her if there were changes to the cost, she AGAIN said no, we signed and left. After seeing an $18 increase, we asked in Houston airport if THEY could correct. THEY COULD NOT FIND THE ORIGINAL RESERVATION. Finally, Avis DID refund the $18, but WHY should we be lied to and go to war with Avis?
As long as other rental company's are available I wont suggest Avis at this location... It never fails when I am forced to use Avis @ College Station Airport. I have started using HERTZ just because each experience is not pleasant.nStaff with attitudes. I was issued a car with damage and the engine sound was loud. I returned to the counter and the rep response and tone was more so disturbed that I didn't feel comfortable with taking it.nThe second car had obvious damage as well. I called corporate they told me it was up to the location to switch out when customers are not satisfied. Well, she only responded by telling me all of their cars are damaged. I took pictures and was just forced to take the 2nd one because she was clearly not trying to make me comfortable. Poor Customer Service.nOn return the Rep was more focused on closing out because I was running late returning and it was close to closing time. Told me I could only use credit card on file to close out rental.. That was a 1st.
No hassle service! Have a good range of cars.
Terrible experience I don't recommend using AVIS to rent a vehicle at all. I returned the car early and was charged more than I was quoted originally for twice as long.
