Recently had some car work done, but didn't want to be sans a ride across the weekend.nAvis had an amazing rate.nnI picked up the vehicle a little later than expected at the airport office. It bit over pricey but in all Thankful for being loaned a vehicle. I will definitely use AVIS again.nThe staff was friendly and greeted me with smiles and were very polite.nTheir service was quick and prompt and in a few minutes I was on my way.

First of all we booked months in advance. The vehicle we booked was not available when we showed up. Was offered a smaller vehicle than planned which now meant we were crowded. While at the counter was told “take it or leave it” the cashier was horrible. She would not even let me look at it without first writing the contract. She issued the contract and told me it was my only option. Once we got to the vehicle it was the dirtiest rental car I have ever seen. 31k miles of gunk, dirt and cigarette smoke. It honestly doesn’t look like the car had been wiped down. When told the vehicle was unacceptable cashier basically told me again take it or leave it and it was my only option through Avis. After searching other rental places and finding no other vehicles that would fit our group I really was stuck with this option. Even though we paid for a larger vehicle and switched to a small vehicle I was still charged the same rate.nnThis was the first and last time I will ever rent for Avis.

Easy pick up and return! I've rented from Avis before at many locations, and San Antonio International was by far the best! Also, easy to find on-site return directions, so that you're not searching in multiple directions where to go right in front of the airport.
