After reserving a vehicle a week in advance my family finished with their 6 hours journey moving from California to Texas to find that Enterprise refused to give me the vehicle I reserved because I am a budget concious individual that does not have a credit card and they refused to accept my debit card since I was moving to Texas and not just visiting. This left me, my wife and our 3 children (all 5 and under) with a huge amount of luggage and no car at 10pm at night. The other rental companies were sold out of vehicles (if Enterprise would have made me aware of this situation I would had made a reservation with someone else). This horrible experience has probably detoured me from ever doing business with Enterprise again.
