The store manager at this Avis is one of the best people I have met. Calm, smart, articulate and caring. He is truly one of the best. He helped me when no others would and would send me away. If you are looking for a top notch place, this one is ran by the best.nnThis was originally a 5 star review but two months later I received a bill in the mail for window damage that I did not do. It cost me 150$ and if this Avis would have called me to tell me their was damage which was already noted before I rented I would have kept all my paperwork but 45 days later I have thrown away everything and have to suck up the 150$ charge. I guess you always get screwed in the end.

I rented 2 vehicles from Avis, because my automobile was in the shop getting repaired. Both times on me reserving my rental, I show up and my vehicle is not available. The first rental, the gentleman helping me was very considerate and put me in an upgraded vehicle with no extra charge because they had made a mistake and my vehicle was not available. The second time I rented a vehicle, once again I show up and my vehicle is not there. I asked the attendant why reserve a vehicle then, because when I show up it is not available. But the second attendant was not as polite, and he was constantly talking over me in our conversation. When people talk over you, that denotes that they do not care what you think and that their viewpoint is all that matters. It is all about him... He then puts me in a mini van, which I definitely did not rent. He did not make me feel like a valued customer. My bad review is based on the second attendant, which I believe was the manager. He blamed things on corporate and their policies instead of correcting the situation and keeping the customer happy.

The car I rented front tires where balled, didn't have my upgrade that I had put in for and the check engine light came on while traveling. Was nerves wreck. This trip was because my step dads passed away. We rented a car for a piece of mine, not to have to worry about car. Sad thing is we are loyal customers of Avis and never had this problem before but if this is the new norm I look elsewhere and refer others. Shame on you.
