I just picked up my rental from Hertz on Covington Pike in Memphis. Kelly was great! Very kind and friendly. She was also very knowledgeable. Even though she was extremely busy, she was very thorough.

Reserved a pickup truck for Monday 8:30am. Received a call at 7:30am that morning saying not only did they not have any pickups, they didn't have any cars at all because they were waiting on returns. I asked if I waited an hour if they thought they would have cars available and was told yes definitely. I showed up at 9:30am. There were 8 people waiting outside for cars and another 7 people inside in line waiting to be served. No one at the counter. I left and called Hertz and got a refund. Won't be back.

If you Value cleanliness, reliability and professionalism please stay away from this location!!!!! I’ve rented from Hertz several times in many states and here in Memphis I usually rent from the Airport location so this was my first time at the local branch. It was like a bad used car dealership where they tell u take car as is. NO cars were CLEANED!! I waited 35 min before being helped and another 40 minutes for my rental to be cleaned even though I called before I came!! My rental time wasn’t adjusted and when I asked on return they refused!! I asked Lauren about my gold member # and instead of her saying I would have to redo my reservation she pretended she could add it! Lauren lied and I didn’t get points for the rental. Car was beyond nasty with foul smell! When I asked to have the car properly cleaned I was asked if I wanted to upgrade and wait on another dirty vehicle to be cleaned. When I declined to pay more or wait I was asked if I wanted to cancel my reservation!! When I asked for mgmt I was told by Lauren that there is no manager until next week but what she failed to tell me was she is actually the MANAGER over all the local branches!!!!! Unbelievable!! She went to the back and was on her phone while I waited thinking she was going to clean the car. Long story short I left and ended up having mechanical problems with the car and had to exchange! I didn’t get a working car until 2:30 p.m. I arrived at Covington Pike at 10:15 a.m no adjustments on time and had to pay an additional day. Terrible!! Never again. Customer service wasn’t any help. Hertz dropped the ball

I went to the one on Covington Pike. The ladies there were extremely professional. Very nice. I highly recommend.

1 staff person and 6 people in line for services at 12:30pm on a Monday afternoon. I don't work in the hospitality industry and know that volume is heavy after a weekend! Rent elsewhere if you can!
