Enterprise Rent-A-Car

Overall, we had a good experience with Enterprise Car Rental. I booked my rental a month in advance and I was seeking to rent the Volkswagen Crossover premium SUV. We're looking at possibly purchasing this one and wanted to test drive it for our vacation road trip. Unfortunately, we were very disappointed and learned the day of our pick up, they could not find one in the Memphis metro. It would have been great to learn this much sooner to consider making alternate arrangements with another rental provider.

Absolutely the worse. I rented a car and I received a phone call stating that they have rented their last vehicle and they have a waiting list. Why do you show availability on your website? Why did it allow me to book a reservation? Furthermore why do I have a confirmation? At this point after receiving a confirmation you need to figure it out. This is unacceptable.nnThis is about the third time that this has happened to me at the Enterprise Lakeland, TN location. Unprofessional and they have no desire for customer service or customer retention. Management needs to be overhauled because this is reprehensible.

Their customer service is about the worst I have dealt with. I was in an accident and a friend lives in Cordova not far from were I was in the accident. My insurance company reserved a vehicle in Covington for me but since I was close to my friend home in Cordova I had him take me to the lakeland location to pick up a vehicle. So when I went to returned the vehicle on Jan 2 as per insurance company the Covington location was closed Saturday and Sunday so I returned vehicle Monday morning and now Lakeland wants to charge me for the extra cost. When I returned vehicle the person who helped me said that they would most likely waive that fee since they were closed then. But I guess the Lakeland location is just a bunch of money hungry individuals!!!

First time worst experience ever. I can not beleive how easy it was for the staff to simply tell me that they dont have the car available after i got a confirmation via e mail for the pick up time and location. I got dropped there by a friend to get surprised that they dont have a car because the return car needs an oil change. I didn't have a ride back to my house neither an uber was even available in the area. The staff simply said they dont have a car..then why did i receive a confirmation?? She asked me if i want to go to another location using uber!!!!! Seriously??? I called customer service who connected me to someone supposed to know how to solve the problem but instead i get a sorry.nnPlease dont reply with a sorry or any other excuse..learn problem solving techniques.

We rented 2 cars from this location, and they unilaterally decided that it must be a duplicate. No calls for confirmation. No attempts to verify. So when we arrived they only had one. Too bad, so sorry.nnThis is not how to treat customers.
