Enterprise Rent-A-Car

I have tried to rent here twice. 1st time they didn't have any cars and second time I didn't have the time to wait. One guy working here and the enterprise system is slow anyway. Opens at 8am so earliest you get a car is after almost every job starts? I have been spoiled by National and not planning on trying enterprise again if I can avoid it. If you go to enterprise, do not be in a hurry and a very limited selection of vehicles. Just my .2 cents

First of all id like to say that one star isnt low enough for Enterprise Rent-A-Car services. Being a Army veteran i used Enterprise often when i was stationed up in Fort Drum NY On active duty. Now that i live in Texas and had visited my mother for christmas i was on my way back from Ohio to Texas when my car broke down leaving me stranded in the middle of nowhere Tennessee. All the other Rental car places were booked up or closed so my only hope to get home was Enterprise. I first tried the Enterprise branch in Paris Tennessee i called and booked a car over the phone only to be called back by them and told that they didnt have any cars left even after i had already booked a car with them and i already had a cab coming to take me to the paris branch. So i had no choice but to try the Lexington Tennessee Office Surely i thought they would rent me a car so that i could get home being over 600 miles away. Nope you see even though i had rented with Enterprise plenty of times in the past they have a policy that if you have an out of state drivers license you have to pay with a major credit card. Debit cards are not accepted so i was left stranded in Tennessee even though i have money and credibility and history of not being a damn criminal or thief and i had rented from them plenty of times before however they would not rent me a car even though i was in an emergency situation stranded 600 miles away from home during the CHristmas holiday.nnThis is an example of a failure to help the people who come to your business with honest inteions to do business and get from point A to point B. This place is a souless heartless company and their corporate policy reflects that.nnSo lets rehash what has happened here. lets say you live in Tennesse you can rent a car from Enterprise easily and youve rented from enterprise in tennesse for years and youve never owned a credit card. however lets say you go on vacation IN Florida and you need to rent a car. you cant even though they have a solid history with doing business with you simply because they wont accept debit cards and only will allow you to use Major credit cards for payment while driving under an out of state license in a different state.nnThat is truly retarded. Do not waste your time with this company. I would advise people to boycott Enterprise altogether considering their policies alienates half the people that need to rent cars.

I got a truck from Enterprise while the dealership was working on my vehicle, and the customer service was wonderful. They were very friendly and informative, and I was pleased with the truck I rented. Great experience.

Very helpful. Got me a nice car quickly, no issues.

I wish I recvd a better car but they did bring it in from another place for me. It was a jeep but a no frills at all. I used it for 2 weeks on a long drive. Good to know they are available if needed.
