I had the most awesome experience with this hertz. Prebooked a rental to Charlotte and they had everything I needed available. Fast and courteous service. Will definitely be a repeat customer

We turned in a car with normal use and was told everything was fine. Get the bill in the mail for a $75 cleaning fee. If there was an issue with the car it should have been communicated during the drop off inspection. These guys love to tag on extras. So after talking with the office I was told I would need to speak to the reginal manager. She told me that she could not refund the fee (lie) but would give me a $50 credit on the next rental. Its time for the next rental and she forgets all about the $50(2nd lie). She said that she would look into what she could do and call me back, yes 3rd lie. Don’t use these guys as they lie! On top of the lying they charged all to the wrong credit card. They used the one on file and not the one I gave them.

It’s infuriating. I get a call from the local representative letting me know that the location is closed early a day before Thanksgiving (apparently closing at 1pm and my reservation was for 6pm). I booked it through Orbitz and so it took close to 3 hours to try to figure out a way to cancel and get the refund while trying to book another car through another company. After many calls to various departments/places, I call the location to confirm the cancellation and the manager tells me that they are operating normal business hours. What is this nonsense? My trip schedule is all messed up and I had to book a car with a higher rate since it is so last minute. More importantly, I wasted hours being on the phone. They have to be more together about this. Simply unacceptable.nnUPDATE: I called the 1-800 number 4 times to make sure that the reservation is cancelled and I get my refund, however, it's still not resolved. They claim that they will process it however, the local agent is unable to see the cancellation and when I asked the representative from the national reservation again, there is no record of cancellation. This is absolutely ridiculous.nnBy far the worst experience I have ever had surpassing Budget.

Scheduled a rental from this location and received the run around all day. Constantly had to call for updates. Finally they tell me at 5:45 that they can’t fulfill my registration, which is 1.5 hours after my scheduled rental time, this causing me to get stuck with the cost of extra insurance, that I paid online to cover the rental. Had they just canceled my rental as I asked about earlier, this wouldn’t have been an issue. Not to mention, I drive by and there’s someone getting into a cargo van, that I was just told didn’t come in. Never to use Hertz again.
