I recently got a rental for one week. Booked over the phone, understood pricing. Car was great, but on Day 6 of 7, I reached to customer service to find out my reservation had been changed at the counter. From 7 day rental to 5 because counter rep decided the details of what I originally agreed to needed to be changed in order to fit my “budget”. None of this was explained. Counter rep was more than nice but when consumers don’t know what they are being charged for until close out that’s insane. PLEASE read your receipt before driving off in that car, reps are not upfront and honest.

DO NOT RENT FROM THIS LOCATION. Dare I say Hertz in ATL at all?? We rented online, show up at 8am for our pick up and no one is there. No cars, no staff, the desk is completely cleared out. No phone number or info. We called the location number via the website and it was shut off (no voice mail). The hotel staff claimed that this is common, they send people to the main location in Downtown, 2 miles away because no one ever shows up here...nnI called the national number to figure out what to do. The first person I talked to hung up on me as I explained what happened. The second was polite but had zero help for me - Just kept saying the location is open, call the number, wait for them. Even though I explained what the hotel staff said, that there was no phone and we had waited 40 minutes. Basically, ended with saying there is literally no way to contact them or do anything about it.nnWe had appointments set all day that we now had to cancel because we have no car to get to them. And no feasible way to get to the other location without spending more money. It's also worth considering that the downtown location must know of this issue because people are being sent to them. Why has nothing been done about this? Why is the national company refusing to get involved??

Scheduled a pickup and no one was even there. Left a person's cellphone to call for pick ups but the person never answered.

DO NOT RENT HERE. Save yourself a couple of Ubers and go to the downtown location. Nobody is at the desk here and when you call the number they left for pick-ups they tell you to pick up a car from the downtown location anyway.
