Dollar Car Rental

Do not be fooled by the 4 or 5 star reviews on here, I’m sure it’s the employees that work for the company that have been told to give a positive review to make up for all the bad ones... instead of enjoying my vacation my family and I have to deal with these scam artist of company! Please beware and stay away.

I dropped off my rental car at this location. Tim was very helpful and gave me a ride to Disney Springs garage so that I could get on the bus back to the Disney resort. Saved me from walking in 90°+ heat! Exceptional service!

Horrible customer service

Let's start with the good...Sara (who was sent from another store to help us) did a great job, was kind and got us on the road quickly.nnNow for the bad...and its soooooo bad.nn1. They are supposed to pick us up for our rental from our hotel, so two days before our rental I tried to call to schedule our pickup. No answer. For two days. I called the 1800#. They couldn't help. Not a reason to get too upset. I'll just take a Lyft.n2. The Lyft drops us off on rental day. No one showed up for work, leaving us stranded and already out money I shouldn't have had to spend until someone came from another store nearly an hour later.n3. The helpline is no help at all. The lady didn't believe that there was no one at the desk and called 4xs while I was on hold with her. She didn't speak very good English, so it was difficult to explain to her why I was upset.nShe tried to find us another car, and did, but wanted to add another $100 to our rental fee because we had to pick up at another location AND I would have to pay for another Lyft to get myself to the new location. Really??n4. The car we got from them had less than half a tank of gas (but I'm betting we will be expected to fill it up before we drop it off), was dirty (and included a pee jug from the last renters and so many bugs stuck to the windshield that it was dangerous to drive very far), and had no wiper fluid in it.nnI'll be contacting corporate and the hotel they are located in about one of the most horrible experiences with a travel company I have ever had. Save yourself the trouble and book somewhere else.
