Enterprise Rent-A-Car

This is a shady company. I rented a vehicle. There was no apparent damage when I rented it but I discovered the passenger mirror was not properly affixed immediately after bringing it home. It’s unlikely they didn’t notice, but I guess it’s possible. I am absolutely certain the damage didn’t occur in the short time between picking the car up and driving it home. When I called to inform the company, the woman was inflexible and dismissive because I signed a contract. The contract says I’m responsible for damage that occurs while in my possession. I discovered the damage but it was definitely there before I took out the car. I didn’t have an accident and the car was never even left unattended. I wouldn’t suggest dealing with this company.

LOVE this Enterprise Location. Friendly Outgoing Staff. Good Selection of Vehicles. My car is Ready when I arrive. Have been renting vehicles from them for years.

I have ALWAYS used Enterprise for all of my rental needs. I have, up to this point, found them to be helpful, efficient, and extremely friendly. I had an emergency situation that left me needing a rental vehicle this weekend. I popped over to my nearest Enterprise in Riverdale, UT on my way to work to see if they had any availability. She was extremely friendly, and very helpful, although she had nothing available. She even tried calling other locations for me. I headed off to work and called the Layton, UT location and was immediately dropped, without warning, to their main reservations. So, I spoke with the reservations gal who was extremely difficult. She insisted that I know the address of the location I would like to pick up, the city was not enough. Then when I asked if that location offers shuttle service, because you know, "Enterprise Picks You Up", she told me that I could ask them when I got there.... Um... THAT'S the problem! I needed a shuttle to get me there! So, I disconnected with her, as I wasn't getting anywhere and drove over to the Layton, UT store where they have a sign out front that says "Please Wait Here For Assistance". So we stood, and we waited. And we waited. And we waited... Standing in the direct hot sun. After standing there for more than 20 minutes, with NOONE so much as greeting us, I poked my head in through the door, where two employees were sitting behind the counter, working on computers. The lady, I'm assuming the same one that dropped me to reservations without warning, informed us that we would need to wait outside. I explained that we HAD been waiting outside and had not so much as been greeted, and it was hot and uncomfortable. She says, "I'm sorry, we're very busy right now." So, Enterprise... A little bit of Customer Service advice... Serve the customers in front of you, nothing you are doing on your computer is more important than the customer standing in front of you wanting to give you business, greet every customer immediately upon arrival, and if you're going to have to make a customer wait, make sure they are greeted immediately, and provided with comfortable accommodations while waiting. I gave Enterprise one more shot and stopped by the Ogden Location on Riverdale Rd. As I walked up, I encountered the same sign, instructing me to "wait here"? I hadn't even made it all the way to the sign before John came out and greeted us. He was friendly and extremely helpful, even though he did not have a vehicle available for us. This is my usual Enterprise location, and now I remember why! Someone give that man a raise! Also, I would highly suggest demoting the Layton Manager to Customer and moving John over to revamp the Layton store that DESPERATELY needs a customer service and management overhaul.

Dont believe their lies about drop off or pick ups. Total BS

Had a somewhat complicated situation that they were unwilling to help me find a solution for. The people at Budget across the street were much more helpful.
