The reservation was quick and easy. The pick up was as well. As we were getting the keys we were told how important it was to bring back the vehicle with a full tank of gas and we needed to clean it or we’d get charged. We get home, start loading the vehicle for our trip and notice it was absolutely filthy. I called the 1-800 number and was told they couldn’t do anything about it. We had to leave super early the next day so we just dealt with it. We brought the vehicle back 2 day’s early and informed the person working about the issue with the cleanliness and she apologized after we showed her photos. She stated she would make sure to tell her manager about the incident and have her reach out. We were also told that because we “prepaid” we wouldn’t get anything back for returning the vehicle early. It was “out of their hands” Well it’s been 5 days and we haven’t heard a word about anything. I will definitely not be renting from this company again.

Worsted experience ever. Paid upfront and was called less then 24 hours prior to pick up and told they could not fulfill my car rental they over booked then was told it would take 3 to 10 days to get my money back which I had to fight with customer service to get full refund back after they canceled on me. I've never had customer service so horrible in my life. Evey other company would try to correct a problem not just tell you it iswhat it is. I cant stress enough not use this company..

I made a reservation on May 11 and received a confirmation number. I showed up on time to the specific location on my reservation May 13th. They did not have the truck or any other moving trucks at their location (except one that was out of service). They sent me to a different location that put me behind by two hours. The new location could not retrieve my original reservation so a new contract was made. I was charged a no show fee of $75. What a joke! Now I have to call customer service and explain to get refund. Budget should pay me $75 for an inconvenience fee. I am very dissatisfied with Budget Truck Rental for not providing adequate customer service, not fulfilling a reservation that I made, and then charging me a fee for all the inconvenience they caused me. I received more than one email congratulating me on my rental. What a joke! The new rental place provided me a rental truck, but acted like they had no affiliation with Budget even though all their trucks were in fact Budget. The truck provided was very dirty inside and out. I had to stop at a gas station to clean the windshield before I could drive it. The new place could not pull up my original reservation nor did they cancel it. I do not recommend Budget Truck Rental.

I rented a car online and chatted online with the service. I had questions since my husband and I were traveling with my parents who do not drive. My mother prepaid the rental with her credit card. I was told through the chat it was Okay that we could do it that way and that we could add my husband as the driver and also my daughter, who lives in Utah. When we picked up the car we were told that was not possible to add my daughter as the driver only my mother who doesn't drive as the 2nd driver. I repeatedly ask during the chat if it was allowed and was told that it was. I was told to call customer service. What a joke! After 20 minutes they hung up on me. I called back and talked with someone who couldn't even find us in the system using my name, my husband or my mother. This was after leaving the property with the rental. . It has been a GREAT inconvenience to have only 1 driver. The store clerk was rude and would only say call customer support. NO HELP at all!! VERY DISSATISFIED. WE Will NEVER rent a vehicle through them again!
