Overall OK experience. Warning light came on about front radar system not working that I was not anticipating. Had to call about charges as there was a discrepancy between my confirmation and what they said charges would be when returning the car.

My car broke down, I reserved a car for noon, when I got to the site no one was there, a note was on the door that someone would be back at 12:30. I was dropped off, so I called the number she left. And she came back but, was not at all pleasant. Disappointed I've rented before and didn't have a problem. .

It's unfortunate that Enterprise doesn't state their policies online completely, and that their employee communicates vehicle availability differently depending on who they're speaking with. After a car breakdown 300 miles away from home (in Minnesota) my boyfriend and I were trying to find a way home. An employee from Express Lube in Portage was kind enough to drive us, as I was confirming reservations and rental policies online. My boyfriend stopped in and talked to Jonah at Enterprise and was told there were no cars available and that there wouldn't be. I completed my reservation online in the car, and received a call from Jonah, who let me know there would be a vehicle available at my requested time (an hour after we arrived at Enterprise), would I be ok with a different type of vehicle? I said yes and he reviewed the deposit with me and then let me know that since I had an out of state license, they would need a credit card - nowhere on the website does it state that! I and my boyfriend both have Visa debit cards we offered, but he said they were unacceptable due to policy. I wouldn't have had someone drive us 20 miles if their website had disclosed that pertinent information, and their employee changing the story of car availability from no to yes was an unfortunate cherry on top.
