Avis Car Rental

After obtaining a weekly rental for over 2 month through Uber/Avis partnership, unfortunately contracted Covid-19. Not able to work and produce any income as I am a self employed, I requested the car to be picked up on Thursday 10/15/20, 4 days before my week ended. I understand that I was responsible to pay for the entire week per my agreement. On Monday before I was charged for another week, I requested that someone pick up the car one more time and explained that I contracted Covid-19 and I was in Isolation and could not leave the house. I also asked to please bill me for that week instead of charging my bank card since I had not being able to work and didn't have any money on my account. At that moment I was told that I had to call the towing company to pick up the car and had to have the car there before the end of the day so that I was not charged for another week. I processed to coordinate this as I was not aware that I had to do that before when I called the first time. The car was picked up by the towing company within 25 minutes. I thought that was it and that we managed to get the issue resolved.nnA few days later when I looked at my account, I received the great surprise that I was not only charged to my bank account for the weekly rental (instead of billing me as requested) causing an overdraft fee, but I also had a separate charge for the cost of one additional day causing another overdraft fee. From the beginning of the rental there was so many flags when I signed up for doing business with them. I was force to use a vehicle that I didn't completely liked claiming that I could not choose a vehicle I wanted, It had to be what they were giving me because it was the only thing available (with a full lot) claiming that the other vehicles has not been approved by Uber. I rent through this program for several months in Indianapolis from March trhough August and never had a problem. This establishment on 108th street here in Milwaukee really left a sour note on me. Just sharing my experience.

I'm absolutely appalled by the customer service throughout the duration of my rental. Then to be overcharged $250 for the smell of baby powder air freshener. When the car had smell before I picked it up. Furthermore, I wasn't informed of the policy. Nor could I get in contact with on location the many many many times I called to renew my rental & no one called to switch my rental out for a sprinter van. So in highly upset & have no intention of carrying on any business with Avis.

Never go here! They never bill on time, and when they do, they over charge you! Thats even when you call in to tell them to bill it, they never do. Its days later. Also after the car is returned and they have been paid from your bank, they still send you a bill in the mail that says it wasnt paid when it was processed! Terrible service! I will never return here!

The staff at this location is outstanding. Annisa and Andy are true pro's and go above and beyond
