Fast friendly and very convenient
One thing I can count on with Avis is that my car will be dirty. This time not only was it the windows (that's normal) but there was also a used wipe stuffed into the cup holder. I guess I should appreciate evidence that the car was wiped down, but having to deal with it before driving away was unpleasant. The car return area was deserted and only one small sign 4 aisles away gave instructions on how to proceed. I totally get not having the area staffed in these times, but obvious and clear signage would be helpful. Your rates are cheap for my company, though, so I have to keep coming back.
Great service from Avis - start to finish. Employees were all very helpful and friendly. We were upgraded to a larger brand new vehicle. Great experience will use Avis in the future.
Long wait and only 1 agent, no one working outside so no preferred option, car absolutely reeked of cigarette smoke and 2 other customers were also asking for another car because of the same smoke issue. When returning we spent 20 minutes in the heat looking for the check in agent. One of the cleaners said she usually hides over there. Ridiculous! Avis should not be renting vehicles that have been smoked in. This seems to be a very common problem there. All the other rental agents had 2 or more staff inside, 1 outside and no long lines.
Process was fast and easy including pick up and drop off with receipt emailed promptly.
